Jacqueline Kennedy- when John Kennedy proposed to Jacqueline Bouvier in 1953, he gave her a gorgeous ring that had one 2.84 carat emerald and one 2.88 carat diamond. In 1962, he had the ring re-set with additional round diamonds totalling 0.66 carats and 1.46 carats total in marquise cut diamonds.
